Sun to Partial Shade – One of the most popular annual flowers. Masses of flowers almost completely cover the plants from spring through fall. Colors include red, pink, white, purple, blue, yellow and bi-colors. Best used in mass plantings in beds and borders; excellent in containers. Will tolerate light frosts. Can be planted in the fall in southern parts of the state. Pinch occasionally to keep compact. Requires low and consistent watering. Susceptible to aphids which can be severe.
