Partial Sun- There are two major species, Camellia sasanqua, which bloom in late fall to early winter, and Camellia japonica which bloom in late winter to early spring. Flowers are 1.5 to 4 inches in diameter and come in single, semi-double and double petal. Upright growing shrubs with glossy dark green foliage. Hundreds of varieties in a range of flower color, size and form. Need rich, acidic soil. Evergreen.
